Winter weddings can often bring about stress and problems in terms of photography. Will it rain? Is it going to blow a gale? Will the common unpredictability of Melbourne weather rear its ugly head?

The week began with the usual obsessive Googling of weather maps, but to my pure delight I woke up Saturday morning greeted by the most perfect winter’s day. I LOVE the winter light and the prettiness that it brings and I knew that Waterfront Station Pier was the perfect location. But in saying that I also love stormy clouds, pretty umbrella’s and a rainy day. Honestly it never really mattered what the conditions were as these two were undoubtably in love. It was an honour to be a part of their most special day.
